Julie's practice includes mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, healthcare transactions, information technology consulting and general business counseling.

Her recent experience includes:

  • Representing an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider in its stock sale to a publicly traded EAP provider;
  • Representing an international public consulting firm in review and negotiation of information technology consulting contracts for its Commercial Services sector, including master service agreements, statements of work, nondisclosure agreements and responses to RFPs;
  • Representing Victory Memorial Hospital and St. Therese Medical Center in the $120 million sale of the hospitals;
  • Representing Victory Lakes Continuing Care Retirement Community in its sale to Franciscan Communities;
  • Representing Wind Point Partners, a private equity fund, in its $280 million acquisition of the country’s second largest installer of insulation and in the equity financing for the acquisition;
  • Representing Galesburg Cottage Hospital in connection with the sale of the hospital to Community Health Systems;
  • Representing a secular, not-for-profit hospital, West Suburban Hospital Medical Center, in its change of control to a Catholic-sponsored system, Resurrection Health Care;
  • Representing Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital in the sale of the hospital to Vanguard Health Systems, Inc.;
  • Representing Round Table Healthcare Partners in the acquisition of several medical and surgical device corporations;
  • Representing a franchisor of arch supports and related products in its formation of a franchise system; and
  • Providing legal counsel on trademark maintenance, protection and licensing.
