Richard A. Ungaretti

Rich is a founding partner of the firm. He started his professional career by concentrating on real estate law. In addition to dealing with all types of real estate transactions and land use issues, his practice evolved into documenting joint ventures between institutional investors and developers. Consequently, he is intimately familiar with laws governing the formation, governance, and taxation of joint ventures, partnerships, and limited liability companies. Rich is a member of the Executive Committee.

His experience includes:

• Representing purchasers and sellers in numerous real estate transactions;
• Representing individuals in the formation of limited liability companies formed for all types of business purposes;
• Representing principals in private and public offerings ranging from the formation of partnerships, limited liability companies, and public REITS;
• Introducing clients to the investment banking and venture capital community in order to access capital markets;
• Representing borrowers, lenders, and loan participants in negotiating multi-million dollar financings, including secured and unsecured, senior and subordinated debt;
• Counseling high net worth families in the areas of succession and estate planning;
• Advising with regard to and structuring resolutions of partnership and shareholder disputes; and
• Counseling investment groups involved in the Native American gaming industry.
