News: Sklar and Neal Join Ungaretti & Harris as Of Counsel

Chicago, June 22, 2007 — Ungaretti & Harris LLP announced today that attorneys Michael L. Sklar and David W. Neal have joined as Of Counsel to the firm. Mr. Sklar will practice in the Chicago office as part of the Corporate, Securities & Finance Department. Mr. Neal will practice in the Government Department from a satellite office in Joliet, Ill.

Mr. Sklar comes to Ungaretti & Harris from DLA Piper in Chicago, where he was a partner. He concentrates his practice in corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions matters. In practice for more than 40 years, Mr. Sklar has negotiated and closed hundreds of transactions for diverse service and manufacturing businesses, and provided legal services to his publicly and privately owned business clients on a day-to-day basis. He is the current president of the Chicago Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. Mr. Sklar earned his J.D. in 1963 from Harvard Law School and his B.A. in 1960 from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Neal emphasizes his practice on state and local government matters, complex civil and criminal litigation, real estate development and public finance. He currently serves as the General Counsel for the Joliet Arsenal Development Authority. Mr. Neal formerly served as the Grundy County State‘s Attorney. He earned his J.D. in 1980 from Northern Illinois University College of Law and his B.A. in 1977 from Lewis University.
